Welcome Dragon Fans!

Two big contests ended in the favor of the Dragon. First, Round Rock takes down its first ever Division One team, Cedar Park. This was one of the most exciting games ever. The score went back and forth and ended regular time in a tie. The first overtime was scoreless and finally the Dragons sink the shot to take the Victory!
Two days later, the Dragons took on Houston team Cy-Fair. A perennial powerhouse, Cy-Fair regularly is one of the top-5 teams in the state. However, on this occassion, they could not hang with the Dragons. The score was 3-0, 6-1, 7-1, and 9-4 at the completion of each quarter and then the game.
The Dragons finish the week with an overall record of 3-0 and sit a-top the Texas 56 team list at laxpower.com.
The Dragons take on Vista Ridge on Wednesday for their first district game of the season at home (Hernandez Middle School - SP Stadium). They will then participate in the Aggieland Tournament at Texas A&M this coming weekend (February 8th and 9th). Come out and support the #1 Dragons!
Round Rock Dragon Lacrosse opened the 2014 season with a bang! In the first of two contests, JV White faced the Reagan Rattlers in a Saturday contest down in San Antonio.
JV started off slow and was trailing 2-3 at the end of the first quarter. Both Dragon goals came from freshman attackman Jonny Cohen. At the half, Reagan led 2-4.
Whatever Head Coach Hightower said during the half-time worked. The Dragon defense of Mason Pierce, Jayce Roman, Stephen Tynan, Tyler Davalt and goalie Chris Moreno, held them scoreless for the entire second half!
Goals scored in the second half included two goals each by Josh McDill, Thomas Manning, and Cody Lykins. Sean Soliz put in the other goal. Final was Dragons 9 Rattlers 4.
Way to go Dragon JV White! Come watch them in their next contest on February 1st against the Cy-Fair Ironmen.
After an exciting win by the JV White team, the Varsity Dragons scorched the field!

New Home Field!
Round Rock Dragon Lacrosse has a new home field in the Round Rock Independent School District. For season 2014, the artificial turf field between Hernandez Middle School and Stony Point High School will be the site of Dragon lacrosse.
This is a relatively new field, lined for lacrosse with lights. We will be able to use the concession stand and the press booth for announcing and controlling the scoreboard.
You can park on either side of the field, but our game entrance will face Hernandez Middle School.
Come out this spring and watch the Dragons in their new venue and enjoy the action!
